Audry S. comes to Costa Nica with a diverse background in the promotion of healthy living. She is a licensed counselor & psychotherapist with interests ranging from organic food production to hiking, kayaking, and hatha yoga. She currently is working on plans for our organic veggie garden and future yoga retreats. When not in Nicaragua she maintains a busy private practice in Austin, Texas. |
Tristan & Zachary are brothers and part-time resident surf grommets at Costa Nica and Hotel Brio. They are also the namesakes for the Zacatán Ecological Reserve in Gigante. During the school year they are elementary school students in Austin, Texas. |
Blair Tom is a Costa Nica surf guide intern and the muscle behind our new organic vegetable and herb garden. Blair grew up surfing the frigid and sharky Sonoma coast north of San Francisco, CA. He has a BA in History from Sonoma State University and loves skating pools and getting barreled. |
Jaime Morales is a Costa Nica surf guide and surfing teacher. Jaime is from El Tambo near Gigante and is part of the local Gigante surf crew. He charges the local beach breaks and can often be found after work surfing his favorite local spot in Amarillo. |
Juan Delgado is owner and director of Escuela Bigfoot. He also is the operations coordinator for Costa Nica Expeditions (the guy who makes everything tick). With 10 years of experience as a Spanish language teacher and school director in Leon, San Juan del Sur, and Playa Gigante, Juan is in charge of teacher training and student orientation. He is also a key member of the team CNE volleyball squad. |

Robert Dull has lived, worked, and traveled extensively in Central America over the past two decades. He visited Playa Gigante for the first time in June, 1999 and immediately put down roots on a 10-acre plot on the hill just behind the sea front village. A UC Berkeley-educated university professor and active research scientist, Rob continues to do work on climate change and the environmental history of western Nicaragua. His affinities for surfing, fishing, and the Spanish language resulted in the founding of Hotel Brio and Costa Nica Expeditions. |

Adam Vaughn joins Costa Nica for the 2008 surf season, after spending two weeks with us getting slotted and catching tons of fish in August 2007. A CN surf/fishing guide and teacher, this L.A. native and UCSB student is already making a name for himself around the place and his fondness for geckos is legendary. |

Brothers Silvio & Flavio are our trusty boat captains. They have been fishing this coast for decades, and know where to be and when for fishing and surfing. They are always a hit with CNE clients. |
